Hi Alan,
First, I want to say thank you a bazillion times over for making Dominic and I’s wedding on May 30th so freaking amazing. Seriously, our guests can’t stop talking about it. They were blown away by the music. You’re awesome. So thank you.
Secondly, I know this is a weird request, do you have ANY recollection about what songs you played!? The night is a bit of a blur (not from drunken haze… but from dancing so much!).
I know it’s probably not possible and it’s been THREE weeks (holy
crap) since the wedding, but I thought I’d ask.
Thanks so much again for everything.
The very next party we throw, you’re invited.
Congrats again to you and Julie!!!!
Sarah

This weekend was pretty cool! On Friday Star Productions AV Division was brought in to provide Sound and Lighting for a very special event to raise money for The Sunnybrook Foundation. The event was the RIDE WITH LANCE ARMSTRONG. This event raised over $1.3 Million!
Jenny Gardner of J. Gardner Events was on site to ensure a smooth event in conjunction with the meeting planners from Sunnybrook. The Saturday bike ride took place in Cambridge on the CIGI Woerner Estate and travelled 117KM. Perry Dellelce from the law firm of Wildeboer & Dellelce was the rides largest fundraiser with over $70,000 raised.
The highlight of the evening was the surprise auction of the actual bike that Lance rode during the day. It was decked out in the NYC Taxi colours and even had sayings like “Rider carries more cash than a Texas oil baron”. This bike sold at the auction for $50,000!!

Star Productions AV Division provided sound for the Start/Finish Line, the Cocktail Dinner on the Friday night and Sound, Lighting and a 52″ TV for the intimate evening dinner on the Saturday night.
It was pretty cool to be a part of this fantastic event.

This past weekend we had the opportunity to work with Wheels Group on their 20th Anniversary Family Fun Day at Dave & Busters in Concord. We provided staging, sound and lighting for the parking lot, tent and drum cafe. This event was very cool and had tons of entertainment ranging from the arcade to the hot air balloon, bouncy house boxing, cat in the hat, balloon artist, temporary tattoos, awesome food, wine tasting / informational sessions, and much more.

On Saturday June 7th I had the pleasure of DJ’ing Martha & Rogers wedding in their Stratford backyard tent. It was an intimate evening that was great to be part of. The event planners were Ultimate Affairs, the catering was done by Daniel et Daniel and photography was by Roel Photography. Here is a link to a photo slideshow that Roel put together on his blog. Star Productions provided a Plexiglass Podium, LED lighting for the tent and DJ Services for cocktails and the reception.
